It is with great sadness that I learn of the disappearance of Maurice FINET. He was the last survivor of the Landing in Provence. A great local figure, it was in Grimaud that he landed, participating in the liberation of the town, our region and the whole of the European continent. It is a major witness to our contemporary history that we are losing today. To his family, loved ones, to all the members of the patriotic associations, I address, on behalf of the municipal council, my most sincere condolences.
