Lou Rampèu will play his traditional pastoral, "La Meravihouso Veihado" written by Charles Martin on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium of the Blaquières Sports Complex. FREE ENTRANCE.
The Meravihouso Vihado was written in 1942, in the Provençal language, by the Saint-Tropez poet Charles MARTIN. It was presented for the first time to the public by the Rampèu de Sant-Troupès in 1953. Since that date, each year its characters, similar to the clay figurines of our nativity scenes, touched by a divine hand, come alive to make us relive this wonderful Christmas night in Provence.
It is traditionally played from December to Candlemas.
