After training in mathematics, economics and commerce, Régis Bégué entered finance in 1994, first as a broker, then as a manager in a large institution. He wrote his first novel in 2000: The peaks do not kiss, having as its setting the imaginary village of Saint-Ravèze, which we find eighteen years later in S. N. O. W. These two books have in common their canvas of background: financial intrigue and stock market speculation. Régis Bégué was born and still lives in the Paris region
