A reading, a conference or a workshop, followed by a signing session and exchanges with the author around a cocktail.
Each of these meetings dedicated to a style or a literary theme takes place in a different place, sometimes unusual, but always grimaudois!
This event has been held four times a year since 2015. We have had the pleasure of receiving the authors René Frégni, Karine Giebel and Marcus Malte, and of moving our cultural excursions from the chapels to the Grimaud vineyards, to the beach of Beauvallon and many other emblematic places.
In 2019, Brigitte Kernel, high priestess of literature on France Inter for 25 years, came to present her novel dedicated to the meeting of Françoise Sagan and Tennesse Williams.
On March 15, Xavier-Marie Bonnot, writer and documentary filmmaker, paid a tribute to the hairy and the artists of the Great War, in the very heart of the exhibition "Grimaud in the Great War" which was held at the House of Arcades.
Next October we will welcome Catherine Poulain, very noticed in 2016 with his work The Grand Marin and the Goncourt grazed with a voice. She will come to present her second novel: The White Heart.
In November, we will close the 2019 season with the intervention of Jean Bourgeois, mountaineer and adventurer, one of the greatest of our time. Missing for 20 days on an ascent of Everest, he will come back miraculously. Before that, he and his wife had the great privilege of approaching the "Lords of Aryana", these nomads smugglers of Afghanistan that no foreign force could tame. It is this singular encounter he will come to talk to us, in support of a film.
